OVULATION AGAIN!!!

WHAT IS OVULATION?  A mature egg is released from the ovary during ovulation, a normal occurrence in a woman's menstrual cycle during which the egg is ready for sperm fertilization. It is an essential component of the reproductive system and required for pregnancy and conception. Hormonal adjustments prompt the production and release of an egg from one of the ovaries throughout each menstrual cycle, which normally lasts for 28 days (although it can vary). This egg, also referred to as an ovum, descends the fallopian tube where, if sexual activity takes place around the time of ovulation, sperm can fertilize it. Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH), which are secreted by the pituitary gland in the brain, are the main hormones that regulate ovulation.
